Out Now: Ray Foxx ft Lovelle - La Musica

I have to admit, I was a bit slow on realising the video had been released, but I've loved the instrumental (The Trumpeter) for quite a while now and I'm pleased Lovelle has done it justice with her vocals. If you're a lover of the house sound, the Chocolate Puma remix of The Trumpeter is also very hardcore.

Lovelle however has been going from strength to strength. Her previous track Uh-Oh was used for the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara advert and now she has teamed up with Defected's Ray Foxx for this single, which has been around all the holiday islands. Finally it's now available for us all to purchase. Have a listen and tell me why it wouldn't be worth the money.... I don't think you can!

New Video: Nobody's Perfect

As time has gone by I've really tried to like Jessie J's music but am yet to find a song that makes me think 'Tuuuuune!!'

That said, I think her voice is amazing, she's definitely talented.

I like this video too, watching it I think of one of my favourite childhood stories, can you guess which one?

Sorry Jessie, guess you can't please everyone....
As you say, Nobody's Perfect ;o)

UK Film: Everywhere & Nowhere

I always get excited when a new UK film is on the horizon and this one looks like it's right up my street!

Directed by Menhaj Huda (Kidulthood), shot in and around London at Pinewood studios, the Everywhere & Nowhere cast includes Adam Deacon (Anuvahood), Simon Webb (Blue) and James Buckley (The Inbetweeners) and main character James Floyd, who is striving to fulfill his dreams as a DJ, combating the the pressures imposed by his strict Asian upbringing.

The music soundtrack includes the likes of Caspa, Redlight, The Streets and Plan B amongst many others..... Being involved in the music scene with many peers who are DJs, I'm more than interested in seeing this story unfold while bopping my head at a few moments!

In Cinemas Nationwide from 6th May 2011

The aim of 'The 5 star EP' is to bring a different and refreshing sound to that already heard as well as demonstrate the capabilities held by the five producers collectively. Don't be the one who is left behind!

New Music: Face Off EP (Preview)

Being the House & Funky diva that I am, it's undeniable that I got highly excited when I saw this EP from FunkyStepz hit my inbox....

Scheduled for release early May 2011, never fear, I'll definitely be playing tracks from the EP on my show 'The Funky Vault' which takes place every Sunday 4-6PM on www.breaklondon.co.uk

New Video: F U Right

I've been waiting for Dele to release the video for this track for far too long. After first hearing it on Jenny Francis' Slow Down Zone on Choice FM, I've been deep in love with the goosebumps that appear all over my body whenever I hear it.....

Now the video is finally here!!!

Have to say, I'm rather disappointed with the Gucci hat and belt.... Like 'What's Up With That?' Nevertheless, there are some sights within this video that has the power to steal Usher and Trey Songz's entire fan base!!

PS: Did I mention that Dele is an artist from the UK?

Film Review: Terry

“I’m just gonna shadow you for a little while and get to see your normal routine and how you live your life. It’s a human study…”

Student Charlie needs to complete a university assignment and decides to use Terry as his subject. Clearly evident that Terry is not your average Joe Bloggs with a regular nine to five occupation, the forthcoming events are unpredictable. Even though this may be the case, it’s made clear from very early on, whatever happens the camera must keep filming...

The standard gangster flick usually has a narration, depicted through the memory of the main character. Terry has a different angle, a story told as it happens. The unpredictable events unfold before a camera. Some of which even Danny Dyer would shy away from.

“I ain’t a gangster bruv, I’m just Terry mate. You know what I’m saying?”

Constructed on a dire budget, the factor has added to the movie, giving it a raw edge which is impossible to imitate. At many occasions it is more than easy to forget you’re watching a fictional creation.

Showcased at Portobello Film Festival September 2010, Terry also won the Best London Film Award. Directors Charlie Ruez and Nick Nevern who also plays the Terry character can definitely be proud of this creation.

New Music: Broken Record (Funky Remix)

I didn't think this song could be adapted in a way that I could like it more than the original but I came across this Funky remix from Geeneus that has shown me just how wrong I can be!!

There isn't anything else to do when hearing this track than to close your eyes, screw up your face, and let the music control you..... Listen to the build up on the bridge......
SWAAAAAAYING!!!!

LoveDrunk for Number 1!!!

Some tracks you hear them and you know you want them to do well in the national charts..... Other tracks you hear them and you instantly decide that you want it to get to Number 1..... This is one of them. There is nothing that can't be liked about this track in my opinion. The production and the vocals are a serious mixture that will take you to a next europhic level as you sing along. Even when it's stuck in your head and the words are spinning round and round, you're still smiling about how great of a track it is..... Thought I'd feature the remix with K-Koke for those that still haven't heard it.....

Well now the time has come, Love Drunk is released
tomorrow (13th September 2010), so what you waiting for??

Hurry Up & BUY!!!!

Kano does Rock and Roll!!

We've been seeing much of Chippy and Tinchy recently, and few have been left wondering what's happened to the London Town artist Kano......

Fear not!!

I heard this one quite a while back and it had me head bopping the first time I heard it. Kano showing off his diversity once more with this electro style track that we've been seeing a bit too much of recently, but I think Kano pulls it off......

Take a look at his new video for his latest release: Rock & Roller
